Baked Dove

• 12 doves, cleaned
• 1 lemon, halved
• Kosher salt
• 4 Tbsp. olive oil
• 1 (12 oz.) bottle Stripling's Vidalia Onion Wild Game Marinade*

Directions:

Sprinkle doves with lemon and kosher salt as well as splashes of olive oil. Cook in shallow dish at 300 degrees for at least one hour or until desired doneness. While still warm, liberally pour Stripling's Vidalia Onion Wild Game Marinade. Serve with grits which are amply buttered. *1(12 ounce) bottle of Stripling's Vidalia Onion Wild Game Marinade will meet the recipe requirement and leave a nice amount remaining for other uses!
