You’ll be thrown off your stride at the unique flavors in Stripling’s Vidalia Onion Southern Steak Sauce. We artfully mixed ingredients such as Worcestershire, molasses, and even apple juice, and, of course, fresh sweet Vidalia onions. This sauce is deep, it’s evocative of home, and it’s certainly Southern fare. Try using this sauce for Pan Venison Steaks (see recipe below) as well as any preferred meats.

Pan Venison Steaks

  • 6 (4 oz.) venison steaks, boned
  • 1 c. red wine
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh rosemary
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 bottle Stripling's Vidalia Onion Southern Steak Sauce*

Directions:

Marinate steaks in pan in the mixture of wine, mustard, and rosemary in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours. Melt butter in sauce pan. Discard marinade and cook steaks to desired doneness. Serve steaks with potatoes, rice, or pasta, using Stripling's Vidalia Southern Steak Sauce to liberally coat venison steaks. *1(12 ounce) bottle of Stripling's Vidalia Onion Southern Steak Sauce will meet the recipe requirement and leave a nice amount remaining for other uses!
